Environmental matters: EMPIR/EMRP projects on environment presented at CIM 2019

24 – 26 September 2019 Paris, France

CIM 2019 conference

The 19th International Metrology Congress (CIM 2019) is a unique crossroads between R&D and industrial applications. It covers a majority of fields including mechanics, health and biology, agro-food industry, environment, energy, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.

The congress deals with R&D and best practices for measurements and metrology in industry through the following approaches: a diversified conference programme and round tables sessions, an exhibition showcasing innovations and solutions, industrial site visits and demonstrations and professional networking opportunities during social events.

EMPIR energy projects

EURAMET supports many projects that establish the measurement infrastructure necessary to underpin Europe’s sustainable energy goals within its European Metrology Research Programmes (EMRP and EMPIR).

These projects are broad in scope, covering topics such as measurement science for solid state lighting, energy harvesting and smart electrical grids. Focus is placed on technologies that enable greatly reduced greenhouse gas emissions, while also ensuring the security of Europe's energy supply.

Come and join the EMPIR and EMRP energy projects presenting at CIM 2019:
