Thematic session to be held at International Conference on Construction, Energy, Environment and Sustainability, CEES 2025
11 – 13 June, 2025, Bari Italy
The consortium of Metrology Partnership project Metrological framework for passive radiative cooling technologies (PaRaMetriC, 21GRD03) will organise this thematic session entitled ‘Cooling from outer space for free – Passive Radiative Cooling from research to market’. It is open to academic, research and private stakeholders, gathering presentations from experts on passive daytime radiative cooling and disseminating the project results.
The thematic session is part of CEES2025 which is organised by Itecons / University of Coimbra in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Bari.
The Programme of the thematic session will cover theoretical and experimental aspects, including:
- modelling of cool roofs and radiative-cooling-assisted heat pumps to assess the potential of daytime radiative cooling materials in the building sector
- experimental apparatuses for the accurate evaluation of the in-field performance of passive radiative cooling materials under different climatic conditions
- on-site monitoring campaigns of indoor thermal comfort parameters at building-scale for demonstrators equipped with cool roofs or water-cooled radiant modules
Contributions for the session are welcome, they can be submitted electronically until January 15th through the event’s online submission system.
