The webinar will take place on 15 September 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00 CEST, and will showcase the latest developments from the ADAM project on the use of Digital Metrological Twins (D-MTs) to support traceable freeform measurements in advanced manufacturing.
The programme will feature presentations from project partners covering the key components required to develop and validate D-MTs. Topics will include the establishment of a common terminology, the design of a dedicated freeform artefact, modelling approaches for optical sensors, on-machine measurement strategies, and parametrisation methods that account for the influence of surface geometry on dimensional and surface characterisation.
