The Precise Time and Time Interval Systems and Applications (PTTI) meeting is an annual conference sponsored by ION with a technical program designed to disseminate and coordinate PTTI information at the user level, review present and future PTTI requirements, inform government and industry engineers, technicians, and managers of precise time and frequency technology and its problems, and provide an opportunity for an active exchange of new technology associated with PTTI.
The following EMRP and EMPIR projects will be presenting at the meeting:
- Metrology for long distance surveying (SIB60 Surveying) will develop traceable verification techniques to benefit cutting-edge industrial electronics that operate in the radio frequency, microwave and millimetre-wave ranges
- Accurate time/frequency comparison and dissemination through optical telecommunication networks (SIB02 NEAT-FT) will study the fundamental limitations of optical fibre links and aims to reduce the contribution of these links to the uncertainty of the frequency calibration
