EMRP project Metrology for pressure, temperature, humidity and airspeed in the atmosphere (ENV07 MeteoMet) will improve climate models by improving pressure, temperature, humidity and airspeed measurements which will support metrological and meteorological research and enable a better interpretation of climate data.
ENV07 JRP-Partners will co-organise and make significant contributions to this joint workshop which will provide an opportunity to those two communities worldwide to present and discuss needs, methods, expertise and devices with an objective to cooperate in producing more reliable data. It will be an occasion to reciprocally increase knowledge and understanding for these two fields, semantically so similar but each one representing problems of different nature. Further, a training course will be organized for Meteo operators on traceability for weather observations.
