EMRP project Metrology for earth observation and climate (ENV53 MetEOC2) will establish the tools, methods and infrastructure to help assign trustworthy confidence levels to climate change monitoring data.
Results from the project will be presented at the symposium. The theme of the symposium is 'Advancing the Understanding of Our Living Planet', by which we want to stress the physical insights in Remote Sensing. IGARSS 2016 will include keynote speakers and special sessions dedicated to the 'Understanding' theme.
