International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant

EMRP project ‘Emerging requirements for measuring pollutants from automotive exhaust emissions’ (ENV02 PartEmission) will build expertise in measuring small particle pollutants, particularly platinum group elements (PGE) and mercury, and will increase the required accuracy and reliability of measurements to support the development of future regulations.

ENV02 JRP-Partners will be presenting the results of the JRP at the International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant (ICMGP 2013). ICMGP 2013 has become the pre-eminent international forum for formal presentation and discussion of scientific advances concerning environmental mercury. The meeting gathers around 1000 experts for a five day conference and exhibition. The ICMGP in 2013 will be of particular public importance as this will be the year of the launch of the United Nations Environment Programme Global Legally Binding Treaty on Mercury.
