Molecular radiotherapy specifically targets cancerous cells through the use of ‘carrier’ molecules that either attach themselves to tumours or accumulate in specific parts of the body. EMRP project Metrology for molecular radiotherapy (HLT11 MetroMRT) will validate the methods and analyse the uncertainties involved in molecular radiotherapy procedures, leading to more effective targeted therapy and more effective treatments.
HLT11 JRP-Partners will be presenting work from the JRP at the annual congress. The EANM meeting promises to be a highlight for the multidisciplinary community that forms the heart and soul of nuclear medicine. There will be plenary lectures devoted to nuclear medicine therapy, hybrid imaging and molecular life sciences. Distinguished speakers will address the state of the art and new developments in clinical and allied sciences, covering a broad range of topics. The multidisciplinary symposia organised throughout the meeting will truly reflect EANM’s mission to interact with other European and global organisations, with the goal of providing the best possible care for patients.
