The European Metrology Network for Quantum Technologies will be running a workshop entitled ‘EURAMET support to Quantum Technologies Standardisation’ at the forthcoming European Quantum Technologies Conference 2021.

The European Quantum Technologies Conference (EQTC) is the international conference of the European Quantum Flagship initiative. This initiative has been set up to collaboratively advance quantum technologies and places Europe at the forefront of the second quantum revolution, bringing transformative advances to science, industry and society.
Taking place at the end of November, the event will provide full coverage of the most prominent and recent advances in quantum technology activities covering topic areas in basic scientific fields, communication, computing, simulation, and even sensing & metrology.
The conference programme addresses a wide range of quantum technologies topics - including fundamental science, infrastructure development, industry engagements, education & training, gender balance within the quantum community, international cooperation, and policy-making. It will provide a forum to highlight the state-of-the-art in quantum technologies, both in Europe and from around the world.
EURAMET support to Quantum Technologies Standardisation Workshop, 2 December 2021
This workshop aims to strengthen the cooperation between the Quantum Flagship Community, the standardisation bodies and EURAMET - with a special focus on the newly created EURAMET European Metrology Network for Quantum Technologies, as well as the Normative Calls launched by EURAMET.
Who should attend
The workshop will be relevant to experts in quantum technologies that are interested in standardisation and the relative characterisation techniques necessary to demonstrate standards conformity.
