EURAMET 2025 Training course on review of quality management systems

Objective of the Course
The aim of the course is to provide theoretical knowledge and practical demonstration of QMS review for compliance with CIPM-MRA requirements and prepare quality managers and persons involved in reviewing NMI/DI quality management systems to carry out the review in the scope of CIPM MRA, with additional focus on EURAMET specifics of peer review process and requirements for reviewers.

The lecturers are internationally recognised experts in NMI/DI QMS review, and there will be plenty of time for discussions and questions.

Course outline

Day 1

  • Opening and welcome, Introduction to the training course
  • CIPM MRA, EURAMET as an RMO and CIPM MRA related activities
  • EURAMET TC-Q structure, operation and internal communication
  • EURAMET TC-Q Review process, QMS review procedure, Peer Review vs Accreditation
  • TC-Q Database
  • Good practice in reporting and presentations
  • Practical exercises  – Group working on report review
  • Questions and discussion

 

Day 2

  • Peer visits as a part of QMS review – introduction, EURAMET expectations, requirements
  • Specifics of peer reviews in physical metrology and MC (Chemistry / Biology)
  • Peer visits as a part of QMS review - Case studies (examples):
  • Practical exercises – Group working on report review
  • Questions and discussion

 

Day 3

  • Practical exercises – Group working on report review
  • Questions and discussion (all topics of the course)
  • Course evaluation and wrap – up


There will be possibility to visit INTA laboratories during each day of the course

Who should attend?
NMI and DI quality managers and those involved in the revision of quality management systems.

Preliminary knowledge of QMS assessment according to ISO/IEC 17025 or 17034 is requested.
