EURADOS Training Course on Dosimetry and Emergency Preparedness

EURADOS Training Course on Dosimetry and Emergency Preparedness, will be held at Greek Atomic Energy Commission (EEAE) in Athens, Greece, from 18th to 21st September 2023.

The Training Course was developed within the project 19NET03 supportBSS and will be organized by the EURADOS WG02 Harmonization of Individual Monitoring in Europe, together with Greek Atomic Energy Commission (EEAE) in Athens.
This education and training event is supported by the project 19NET03 supportBSS, the European Metrology Network for Radiation Protection EMN RP and its partner the Bundesamt für Strahlenschutz (BfS) and the United Kingdom Health and Safety Agency (UK HSA).

The aim of this course is to cover the theoretical background of handling emergencies and to expand it with practical measurement exercises. This training course will consist of 3 days of lectures and discussions in combination with 1 day of practical exercises in small groups of 5 persons. Lecturers from different European institutes will present various topics from different perspectives.
