EMPIR PROMETH2O project to run Trace Water Measurements Workshop at Gas Analysis 2024 symposium

Gas Analysis 2024 symposium: Tuesday 30 January - Thursday 1 February

PROMETH2O Trace Water Measurements Workshop: Tuesday, 30 January

The EMPIR project Metrology for trace water in ultra-pure process gases (20IND06, PROMETH2O) will organise a workshop aimed at targeting the scientific and technical communities attending the Gas Analysis 2024 symposium.

This EMPIR project aims to achieve precise gas moisture measurement at the challenging parts per billion level. Despite advances in mid-to-high humidity measurement, gaps still exist in low water content measurement. The project focuses on enhancing trace water measurement in ultra-high purity (UHP) gases, developing standards and utilising innovative techniques. The workshop fosters global collaboration, aiming to transform industry practices, improve metrology, and engage stakeholders in solving measurement challenges.
