EMRP project Metrology for monitoring infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and harmful micro-organisms (HLT08 INFECT-MET) will develop high accuracy methods for the detection of infectious agents. It will also evaluate new and emerging molecular approaches for the surveillance and monitoring of infectious disease load and detection of antimicrobial resistance mutations.
HLT08 JRP-Partners will be presenting work from the JRP at the event. The Third Annual Digital PCR event will bring together industry visionaries and early adopters to discuss digital PCR’s capabilities, limitations, and future applications. Researchers will examine applications in cancer biomarker and rare mutation detection, non-invasive fetal DNA analysis, and infectious disease quantification, particularly in HIV. Novel digital PCR devices from start-ups and academic labs will be showcased.
