EMRP project Metrology for long distance surveying (SIB60 Surveying) will improve the traceability and reduce the uncertainty of long-distance metrology, the metrological basis of surveying, geodesy, and many earth sciences. The project focuses on the development of novel devices and measurement strategies optical distance metrology in air, on the uncertainty of GNSS based distance metrology at millimetre level and below, and on dynamic approaches to local tie metrology.
JRP-Partners will present results of the JRP in dedicated sessions at the symposium. The 3rd Joint International Symposium on Deformation Monitoring (JISDM) follows the more than 40 years old tradition of the FIG Symposium series on Deformation Measurements and of the IAG Symposium series on Geodesy for Geotechnical and Structural Engineering.
