Modern radiotherapy treatments aim to deliver the highest possible dose to the smallest possible area to limit the damage to healthy tissues. EMRP project Metrology for radiotherapy using complex radiation fields (HLT09 MetrExRT) will develop new standards to improve dose measurements and support the updating of international codes of practice.
HLT09 JRP-Partners will present results of the project at the forum. The 3rd ESTRO Forum built on the success of the London Anniversary Congress in 2011 and the 2nd ESTRO Forum in Geneva in 2013 will host five meetings featuring all aspects of the radiation oncology field. Placing interdisciplinarity under the spotlight, clinicians, physicists, brachytherapists, radiobiologists and radiation thertherapists (RTTs) will find a broad range of interdisciplinary sessions at the Forum where the different disciplines will join to explore topics of interest to all.
