31 August to 3 September, Dresden, Germany
Partnership project Metrology for electric vehicle charging systems (23IND06, Met4EVCS) will present a 90-minute tutorial on 31 August, during the 22nd International Conference on Harmonic and Quality of Power.
The tutorial, “Electric Vehicle Charging Systems: Power Quality, Metering Accuracy, and On-Site Verification” will explore the technical challenges of energy metering and power quality monitoring, including advanced laboratory test benches for charging systems and on-site verification procedures. A panel discussion on "Advanced Metrology for New Power Quality Applications," moderated by Dr. Guglielmo Frigo, will also feature Met4EVCS coordinator Helko van den Brom (VSL) participating as a panellist.
The conference will also feature contributions from Partnership projects Electric energy and supply reliability (ENSURE, 23IND01) and Metrology for efficient grid-forming converters to stabilise future power grids (GridForm, 24GRD08).
In addition, ICHQP will host a discussion panel on grid-forming converters with the participation of the EMN Smart Electricity Grids Chair, Dr. Stefano Lodetti (NPL, UK).
