16th ETH-Conference on Combustion Generated Nanoparticles

Small particles emitted from car exhausts and other vehicles can damage human health and the environment. EMRP project ‘Emerging requirements for measuring pollutants from automotive exhaust emissions’ (ENV02 PartEmission) will build expertise in measuring small particle pollutants, particularly platinum group elements (PGE) and mercury, and will increase the required accuracy and reliability of measurements to support the development of future regulations.

ENV02 JRP-Partners will be presenting the results of the JRP at the ETH-Conference on Combustion Generated Nanoparticles. The conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for expert discussion in the field of combustion-generated nanoparticles, technical aspects as well as environmental impact, health effects and legislation. The conference addresses characterisation methods of nanoparticles for research, type-approval, manufacturing control, in-use compliance testing and progresses of internal and external emission control of internal combustion engines and other combustion technologies
