The International HITRAN Conference will consist of poster and oral presentations selected for their contributions to the spectroscopic databases, such as HITRAN, HITEMP, and to relevant user applications. Example topics included are: Current Status of the Molecular Spectroscopic Database and Relevant New Spectroscopic and Aerosol Data.
The following EMRP projects will be presented at the meeting:
- Spectral reference data for atmospheric monitoring (ENV06 EUMETRISPEC) will develop a European spectroscopy infrastructure that is traceable to SI units and a database of spectral line data for improved information on molecule properties and improved atmospheric models.
- Implementing the new kelvin (SIB01 Ink) will improve primary thermometry and assign definitive thermodynamic temperatures to a set of high temperature fixed points, allowing extreme temperature measurements to be linked to a direct realisation of the kelvin.
