Uncertainty components on line scale measurements

A consultation on facilities for measurement of line scale will be carried out in order to reach a better estimate of the uncertainty components in Justervesenet new 50 m bench for line scale measurements.The project includes one visit to SP. Measurements on one meter long line scale are performed to evaluate sources of error : Abbe and cosine errors, temperature stabilisation and measurement of temperature, wavelength and correction of the refractive index, not parallel lines.
