Traceability of spectral power responsivity

Project Description

Spectral power responsivity of silicon trap detectors operated by MIKES and TKK will be calibrated regularly by SP’s cryogenic radiometer. The agreed wavelengths include 457.94 nm, 543.37 nm, and 632.82 nm laser lines.

Progress Report 2022-01-25

The plan was to continue with the collaboration and carry out calibrations during 2021. That did not happen. Main reason is that new laser still was not installed due to Covid situation. The provider has not been allowed to travel. The plan is to do a calibration in 2022. Exchange of detector(s) same time as the lamps go to MIKES.

RISE calibrated one trap detector for VTT-MIKES in June 2019 using as reference RISE’s cryogenic radiometer.

Progress Report 2021-01-21

No activity since last year due to installation of new laser. The plan is to continue with the collaboration and carry out calibrations during 2021.
RISE calibrated one trap detector (marked UVFR-1) for VTT-MIKES in June 2019 using as reference RISE’s cryogenic radiometer.

Progress Report 2020-01-23

RISE calibrated one trap detector (marked UVFR-1) for Aalto University, Metrology Research Institute in June 2019. RISE’s cryogenic radiometer was used as the reference using laser wavelengths at 405.2nm, 457.94nm, 514.54nm, 543.37nm and 632.82 nm.

Progress Report 2019-01-23

No activity since last year due to rebuilding of RISE’s cryogenic radiometer. The plan is to continue with the collaboration and carry out calibrations during 2019.
RISE calibrated three trap detectors (marked UVFR-1, UVFR-2 and UVFR-7) for VTT-MIKES in June 2015. As a reference RISE’s cryogenic radiometer was used. Last calibration was in 2015

Progress Report 2018-01-30

SP calibrated three trap detectors (marked UVFR-1, UVFR-2 and UVFR-7) for VTT-MIKES in June 2015. As a reference SP's cryogenic radiometer was used. Last time in 2015.

Progress Report 2016-01-25

SP calibrated three trap detectors (marked UVFR-1, UVFR-2 and UVFR-7) for VTT-MIKES in June 2015. Justervesenets Trap 21 was measured during the same campaign. As a reference SP’s cryogenic radiometer was used.

Progress Report 2014-03-25

No activity over the last year. (Previous calibration in March 2012).

Progress Report-2013-02-21

SP calibratedThree trap detectors marked UVFR-1, UVFR-2 and UVFR-7 against SP Kryogenic detector for MIKES in March 2012.

Progress Report 2012-03-27

No activities since last report.
