Traceability of spectral irradiance scales

Project Description

NPL maintains spectral emission scales in the ultraviolet, visible and infrared regions of the spectrum and undertakes to make calibrated spectral power standards available to other members of EUROMET, thus providing traceability to NPL scales. No calibrations have been carried out for partners under this agreement during the course of the past year. NPL maitains spectral emission scales in the ultraviolet, visible and infrared regions of the spectrum and undertakes to make calibrated spectral power standards available to other members of EUROMET, thus providing traceability to NPL scales.

Under this agreement, calibrtated spectral irradiance transfer standard lamps are supplied to EAM and IENGF to provide traceability to the NPL scale, initially over the wavelength ranges 300 - 1100 nm and 300 - 800 nm, respectively.

Final Report 2019-05-23

NPL maintains spectral emission scales in the ultraviolet, visible and infrared regions of the spectrum and undertakes to make calibrated spectral power standards available to other members of EURAMET, thus providing traceability to NPL scales.
No significant changes are planned to these services in the foreseeable future and it is therefore not considered necessary to continue to make annual reports on progress to EURAMET TC-PR. The project is therefore to be closed, but transfer standards for the project partners (and others) will continue to be carried out by NPL whenever required.
