Traceability of dew/frost point temperature

Characterisation and calibration of a chilled mirror hygrometer (CMH) is carried out at INRIM in order to provide traceability for dew/frost point temperature to NMI SA (South Africa).

The CMH is calibrated against the INRIM primary frost point generator in the frost point temperature range from -75 °C to -20 °C and against the INRIM 2T primary dew point generator in the dew point temperature range from 1 °C to 20 °C. In total, the CMH is submitted to six different calibration temperatures in the above range.
