Trace elements in sediment

Project Description

The aim of this project is to establish and demonstrate international comparability (through traceability) of measurements of trace elements in sediment (As, B, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Ni, Pb, Se, Zn and U will be measured). Field laboratories will also measure the same samples meaured bu EUROMET partners. In this way an overview of measurement capability from laboratories with different metrological function will be displayed. the reference ranges will be established mainly using Isotope Dilution mass Spectrometry as a primary method measurement.
