Supplementary comparison of torque standards from 10 N.m to 500 N.m

Project Description

LNE has a new reference torque machine of 500 Nm. This machine will be compared with the corresponding machines of PTB.

The measurements will be used to support torque capability claims of LNE. Uncertainties of the 500 N.m reference torque machine are from 10 N.m to 500 N.m : ± (3  mN.m + 5.10^-5.C) (k=2).

The comparison has been completed and results are available in the KCDB.

The measurements are completed. The final report has been approved by the CCM-WGFT on 20/01/2026 and uploaded on the KCDB database on 21/01/2026.

This machine has been compared to the 1 kN·m torque standard machine of PTB.

The measurements are completed. Draft A has been approved by participants and sent as Draft B to the TC-M Chair in August 2025.
