Supplementary Comparison of standards for liquid milli-micro flow rates
Project Description
A comparison is organised in order to determine the degree of equivalence of standards for micro liquid flow rates under static load changes in the range of 1 g/h to 30 000 g/h at ambient pressure and temperature. Two Coriolis Mass Flow Meters will be used as Transfer Standards (TS):
- TS1: a Bronkhorst Low Flow Coriolis Mass Flow Meter, mini CORI-FLOW ML120, for mass flow rates in range from 1 to 200 g/h, measurement flows (1; 5; 10; 50; 100; 150; 200) g/h
- TS2: a Bronkhorst Low Flow Coriolis Mass Flow Meter, mini CORI-FLOW M14 for mass flow rates in range from 500 to 30 000 g/h, measurement flows (200; 500; 1 000; 3 000; 6 000; 10 000; 15 000; 20 000; 30 000) g/h
If the participants are not able to calibrate in the full measurement range specified, they may calibrate the meter over a part of the flow range. Each laboratory will be responsible for transferring the meter to the next laboratory.
Test conditions:
- working fluid temperature: 20 °C ± 5 °C
- ambient temperature: 20 °C ± 5 °C
- ambient humidity: from 30 % to 80 %
- atmosphere pressure: from 86 kPa to 106 kPa
- absence of free air in the measuring line of the standard
CETIAT will provide the meters, which will be coordinated by Kevin Romieu (LNE-CETIAT).
