Supplementary comparison: Determination of gold content in metal alloys
Project Description
The comparison will be conducted in collaboration with participating NMIs and DIs.
As a follow-up to the recently completed EURAMET TC-MC project : "Comparison on Determination of Gold Content in Alloy," which confirmed good comparability among different analytical methods, the Institute for Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina proposes organising a EURAMET supplementary comparison for the determination of gold in metal alloys.
The main objective is to assess the comparability and metrological equivalence of gold mass fraction measurements in metallic alloys at two nominal concentration levels, 100 mg/g and 990mg/g.
Participants will apply their established measurement methods, report measurement results with associated uncertainties, and contribute to the evaluation of measurement performance and consistency.
The results will provide evidence supporting the participating institutes’ measurement capabilities and CMCs for the determination of gold mass fraction in metallic alloys.
