Study of balance for ground vibrations

Project Description

A study on the sensitivity of different balances to ground vibrations and on a possible procedure for characterising this effect is to be performed. Partners will exploit the possibility of monitoring the balance behaviour (mean value and standard deviation of weighings) in stimulated vibration conditions. Otherwise simple records of seismometric measurements made during to normal weighing activity will be provided.

Partners will compare measurements in a meeting to be held in occasion of the next Euromet contact person meeting.

Further Information

In future this Projects will co-ordinate its meetings with other Projects concerning balances, to allow partners to attend the other meetings for information.
