Standardization of Tc-99
Project Description
Both LMRI and NPL have standardized this pure beta-emitter. An intercomparison (which cannot be carried out in the BIPM's SIR system) would be of interest as a step to resolving a possible discrepancy between an NPL measurement and a commercial supplier's measurement of this nuclide. It is agreed that LMRI supply standardized material from stock, and NPL carries out the comparison.
