Pilot Study: Intercomparison of Calibration of Fibre-Bragg-Grating Sensors with Interrogator
Project Description
The intercomparison is conducted as part of the joint research project (JRP) – Integrated European research, calibration and testing infrastructure for fibre-optic thermometry (22IEM07 INFOTHERM)
The aim of the comparison is to compare the results of the participating laboratories during calibration of a Fibre-Bragg-grating (FBG) sensors with interrogator operated as “Temperature sensors with display unit”.
The FBG sensors (see Sec. 1) are calibrated by comparison (set points within ± 1 K) or at fixed points at increasing temperatures in the following 7 points:
0.01 °C; 29.8 °C; 156.6 °C; 231.9 °C; 419.5 °C; 660.3 °C; and repeating 0,01 °C
