Key comparison on calibration of angle standards
Project Description
The key comparison on calibration of angle standards will be based on two 12-sided optical polygons. A first one manufactured by Matrix and a second one manufactured by Möller Wedel.
Due to the high number of participants, two groups of NMIs will be created:
A first group will measure only the polygon manufactured by Matrix, while a second group will measure only the polygon manufactured by Moeller Wedel.

The comparison involves 22 NMIs, so two circulation groups were created: one group for 13 NMIs from EURAMET and one for 9 NMIs outside EURAMET. The circulation in EURAMET ended in September 2022, as scheduled, and all NMIs provided the measurement results. The analysis of the results is ready, but it has not yet been shared with the participants since we have to wait for the results of the second circulation.
The circulation in the second group outside EURAMET was in strong delay, due to troubles at several customs. Anyway, it is just finished. All participants sent their report, except one NMI.
