Key comparison of absolute gravimeters

Project Description

The comparison is intended to be organised as a key comparison linked to the CCM.G-K2.2023 by means of joint participants. Additional comparisons will be organised simultaneously, with the key comparison for institutes not being EURAMET members or associates.

Main objectives of comparisons are associated with the validation of published CMCs and realisation of the International Terrestrial Gravity Reference Frame.

The comparison will be carried out at the Geodetic Observatory Wettzell, Germany, Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG). Organisation and evaluation of the comparison will be performed by joint effort of VÚGTK and BKG.
