Key Comparison for 100 MPa Range of Hydraulic Gauge Pressure
Project Description
At the EURAMET SC Pressure meeting held in Delft on 15 October 2025, the plan of a new EURAMET key comparison of hydraulic gauge pressure was presented.
This comparison is aimed to renew the equivalence statements derived from the last comparison conducted in this technically important pressure range in the range 10 MPa to 100 MPa.
It was agreed that PTB will pilot this key comparison and UME will be co-pilot and provide a transfer standard.
This will be a DH pressure balance with a 1 MPa/kg piston-cylinder unit and a set of weights.
Besides, this key comparison will provide the link to a new CCM key comparison for hydraulic gauge pressure, a repetition of CCM.P-K7, which is in preparation and will start soon.
