Key Comparison: Calibration of Roundness standards
Project Description
The comparison objects are a ceramic sphere with a diameter of 30 mm and a steel ring with an outer diameter of 90 mm.
The measurands of the artefacts are peak-to-valley roundness deviations using the Gaussian filtering method. 7 participants from EURAMET will take part in the comparison.
The comparison gives a chance for each participating NMI the opportunity to verify, improve or add their Calibration and Measurement Capabilities (CMCs) claims for the calibration of roundness standards.
