Supplementary Comparison: Involute Gear Artifacts
Project Description
At the EURAMET TC Length meeting in October 2007 it was proposed to establish an international comparison on involute gear measurements. There has so far not been such an international comparison.
The comparison comprises measurements at three different gear artifacts: an involute profile artifact, a helix slope artifact and a pitch artifact. The scope will be the measurement of 28 measurement parameters at these artifacts.
