Intercomparison of very low air speed standard facilities (0.05-1m/s)

Project Description

In this project two thermal anemometers will be circulated amongst the participants;
The two instruments will be special thermal anemometers for low velocities, mainly used in the applications of clean rooms and thermal comfort measurements.
The two instruments will be calibrated by the participants at specific velocities within 0.05m/s to 1m/s.

The comparison has been completed and and results are published in the KCDB.

The comparison is successfully finished. The implementation in the context of Euramet had the advantage that all the national insitutes could be easily addressed and were highly motivated. Furthermore, a regular meeting was arranged during the annual TC-Flow meeting.
