Intercomparison of high pressure gas flow measurement facilities using turbine and Venturi meters

Project Description

The turbine and Venturi meters will be calibrated at 3 different pressures (nominally 20, 40 and 60 bar abs).

As wide a range of flowrates as possible should be measured at each pressure, provided the differential pressure at the Venturi is adequate and the turbine meter flowrate and pressure are not exceede.
The laboratories will use their own software packages to calculate the thermophysical properties, and will supply data for comparison with the state-of-the-art thermophysical properties package developed at NEL.

The gas to be used is either air or natural gas.
