Explaining the process of revision of volume standards ISO 8655 and ISO 4787

Project Description

The objective of this report is to provide information on the changes performed in two of the most important volume standards that were revised in 2021 and 2022, respectively ISO 4787 and ISO 8655. These standards are used by both National Metrology Institutes, accredited laboratories and end users, all over the world. Also, information is given regarding the changes on the ISO/TR 20641 and ISO/TR 16153.

This project allowed the development of a report that explains the changes performed in two of the most important volume standards that were revised in 2021 and 2022, respectively ISO 4787 and ISO 8655. These standards are used by both National Metrology Institutes, accredited laboratories and end users, all over the world. Also, information is given regarding the changes on the ISO/TR 20641 and ISO/TR 16153. Several members of EURAMET TC Flow participated in the revision of the documents, being project leaders in some of the revisions.
