European comparison in accelaration calibration

Project Description

Campaign to compare the procedures and results, using the laser interferometry method, for the absolute calibration of the medium frequency accelerometers.

Principle: measurement of the longitudinal sensivity

Equipment: - two piezo electric standards according to:

Bruel & Kjaer 8305 (measurement on the top),

Endevco 2270 M8 (measurement on the bottom).

- the same accceleromters in circulation.

Limits : - discrete frequency from 10 Hz to 10 kHz

- discrete g's level from 0,5 to 800 m/s2
