Complementary comparison of Indium fixed point cells

Project Description

In order to check the possible outliers, a complementary comparison of the Indium cells is organised among some participating laboratories to the previous EUROMET comparison 391.

This comparison will be carried out on the basis of a direct comparison between the laboratory cell and the BNM-INM circulating cell in the premises of BNM-INM with the assistance of the laboratory delegate. Expecting a work on three successive weeks, corresponding to three participating laboratories, the full work will be completed within one month.

Final Report 2008-01-31

The comparison has been finished and results are available in the KCDB.

Purpose :
In order to check the possible outliers, a complementary comparison of the Indium cells is organised among some participating laboratories to the previous EUROMET project (391).This comparison will be carried out on the basis of a direct comparison between the laboratory cell and the CNAM-INM circulating cell in the premises of CNAM-INM with the assistance of the laboratory delegate. Expecting a work on three successive weeks, corresponding to three participating laboratories, the full work will be completed within one month.

  • The comparison between the CNAM-INM and CMI cells was carried out from 16 to 20 February 2004
  • The comparison between the CNAM-INM and GUM cells was carried out from 23 to 27 February 2004
  • The comparison between the CNAM-INM and EIM cells was carried out from 22 to 26 Mars 2004
  • The results were presented during the last TEMPMEKO meeting (June 2004)

Due to staff difficulty, the Austrian Laboratory asked to be erased from the list of participants on January 2004. The comparison between the CNAM-INM and BEV cells was carried out from 9 to 14 January 2005. The results of this comparison will be published together with the results of the EUROMET Project 391 and the results of CMI, GUM, and EIM in 712 ( the Draft of the paper was sent by Crina Rauta to all the participants on February 2005).
