Comparison of standards and calibration facilities for NO measurements

Project Description

The objective of this project is evaluating progress in the development and realisation of standards and calibration facilities for NO measurements.

A number of NMI’s already maintaining established standards for NO in nitrogen, entered into a key comparison organised by the CCQM (K-1c). The objective of the key comparison is to determine the comparability between pairs of measurement standards.

For those institutes, which for various reasons could not participate in the CCQM key comparison, this EUROMET project offers an opportunity to evaluate individual progress by performing measurements on gas mixtures, similar to those of the key comparison.

The nominal composition of the gas mixtures in a nitrogen matrix:
100 ÷ 10^-6 mol/mol
