Comparison (bilateral) of measurements on precision polygons

Project Description

Two precision polygons by INRIM (formerly IMGC), will be measured by the participants. Participants agree to use the same apparatus and methods as routinely applied to client artefacts. The main purpose of the comparison will be to get more experience on measuring this kind of angular standards and to demonstrate the equivalence of routine calibration services offered by the participant NMIs to clients.

Final Report 2011-10-13

The comparison has been completed and the results are available in the KCDB.

The comparison started at the beginning of 2008 and concluded in 2010. The comparison was performed in a collaborative atmosphere and the results show an excellent agreement between the laboratories. The final report was circulated in May 2010.
