Cd content in rice

Project Description

The aim of this project is to establish and demonstrate international comparability (through traceability) of measurements of Cd amount content in rice. Field laboratories will also measure the same samples measured by EUROMET partners. In this way an overview of measurement capability from laboratories with the different metrological function will be displayed. the reference ranges will be established using Isotope Dilution Mass Spectrometry as a primary method of measurement.

Rice is very important foodstuff worldwide since the 2/3 of Earth's population is having rice as a basis of their diet.
