Calibration facility for the low dew-point temperature range

Project Description

A new dew-point generator is to be built at SP. With the new generator, the low limit and uncertainty of the realized dew-point temperature scale will be lower than with the old generator. The goal is to reach a dew-point temperature of at least –50 °C. The knowledge and experience gained at MIKES with low range facilities will be transferred to SP on a consultant basis. The project will end with a comparison between the calibration facilities at SP and MIKES.

Final Report 2009-03-16

A new dew-point generator is developed at SP.

The generator was developed and tested. The comparison between SP and MIKES was not arranged.

Progress Report 2005-03-15

A new dew-point generator is developed at SP.

In 2004, the generator was developed further and tested. The characteristics of the apparatus will be studied further with the MIKES dew-point comparator in 2005.
