Comparison of piston-gauges within the range (1 … 70) bar, working fluid – oil, between the pressure standards of INM, Romania and IMGC, Italy

The comparison measurements in the range (2…7) MPa were carried out in two phases:

• at the pressure laboratory of the IMGC
• at the pressure laboratory of the INM

The transfer standard was provided by INM (Budenberg pressure balance INM – B7).

The task of the measurements was to compare the effective area of the INM transfer standard, by comparing it with the national standard of IMGC and the national standard of INM, in order to estimate the agreement between the pressure scales of the two countries.

The results of this comparison confirmed the agreement between the oil pressure scales.
