Bilateral comparison of the turbine gas meter in flow rates from 80 m3/h to 1600 m3/h

Project Description

Two Vemm-Tec G1000 axial turbine gas meters will be calibrated at NMi Delft. One is the master meter (Dn200, PN15, serial Number 031265) with the "pulse factors under discussion" and the other is the traveling standard (DN200, PN30, serial Number 031271).

The traveling standard with the serial number 031271 will be used as the decisive meter in the bilateral comparison.

The two turbine gas meters will be calibrated at 6 flow rates: 1600, 1100, 650, 400, 160, 80 m3/h.

The laboratories should carry out the calibration using their normal procedures. The laboratories should use their upstream straightening pipe (at least 5x DN) and the downstream straightening pipe (at least 3x DN) during the calibration of the gas meter.

Each laboratory will have 2 weeks to perform the calibration of the gas meter and to deliver the gas meter to next laboratory.

There will be two wooden boxes and the weight of one of the wooden box with gas meter is approximately 70 kg.

Test conditions:
Test gas: air
Test pressure: near atmospheric
Test temperature: (19,5 ÷ 23,5) °C
