Comparison of dew-point temperature scales: The comparison covers the dew-point temperature values from -80 °C to 10 °C. The device for comparison measurements will be provided by TÜBİTAK UME. This comparison is an extension of the Project 1259 "Developing a primary dew-point standard".

This project was an extension of project 1259, "Developing a primary dew-point standard," focusing on the comparison of dew-point temperature scales between VTT MIKES (Finland) and TÜBİTAK UME (Türkiye). Initiated in 2017, the comparison utilized a dew-point hygrometer to measure dew-point values ranging from -80 °C to 10 °C.
While initial measurements were successfully conducted at both NMIs, the project faced significant scheduling challenges that prevented its completion.
Following these initial delays, the COVID-19 pandemic caused further disruptions to the project timeline.
Due to the subsequent retirement of the project coordinator and ongoing resource constraints, it has now been decided to formally terminate the project.
No further measurements will be conducted, and the comparison is now considered concluded.

The measurements were completed at UME and VTT MIKES. The comparison measurements could not be completed in 2018 and 2019, due to the increased workload in the laboratory. It is planned to complete the final measurements in 2020.

The comparison covers the dew-point temperature values from -80 °C to 10 °C. This comparison was initiated in 2017.
