Bell-, Piston-Prover Bilateral-Comparison

Project Discription

The goal of the project is to compare Piston provers in the flow rate range, between 0.3 m³/h and 9 m³/h as well as Bell provers in the range between 1 m³/h and 25 m³/h.
A rotary-piston meter will be used for the comparison of the provers. Each laboratory will calibrate a maximum form the following flow rates on their piston prover and on their bell prover.

Flow rates:

(0.3, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 14, 16, 18, 20, 25) m³/h.

The measure points have been chosen in such way that a comparison between Bell and Piston provers can also be done.

Because the meter used in the context of this project is currently used as an internal transfer normal standard by METAS, we are not able to send it to other NMIs.
