Supplementary comparison of "Measurement of PAHs in Protein Matrix"

Project Description

METAS is the national reference laboratory for PAHs for Switzerland. We would like to underpin our capability with a supplementary comparison.

The aim is to determine PAHs (benzo(a)pyrene, benzo(a)anthracene, chrysene, benzo(b)fluoranthene in whey protein as a model matrix. This matrix has not been used yet in comparisons of PAHs and would give an additional opportunity to others to prove their capability.

Other institutes may participate.

The comparison has been completed and results are available in the KCDB.

Progress Report 2024-04-19

The practical work in the laboratories is finished.

Now discussions regarding the interpretation of the data are under progress. A draft A report is in circulation between the participants.
