Pilot Study to measure the magnetic susceptibility of test artefacts
This pilot study aims to compare the measurement capability of participants to determine the volume magnetic susceptibility of stainless-steel mass standards, and other artefacts with lower susceptibility, that have potential for use as kibble balance standards. The pilot study will build on the work performed in a previous magnetic properties comparison of mass standards among seventeen national metrology institutes.
