Peer review of QMS of NSAI NML

Project Description

All the NMIs and DIs participating in the CIPM MRA must operate a Quality Management System (QMS) to support their calibration activities. In this project the QMS of NSAI National Metrology Laboratory (IE) will be peer reviewed. The peer review will be carried out by an on-site visit of a metrological expert(s) in Pressure and Acoustics coming from the Czech Metrology Institute (CMI). The review will include relevant requirements for the competence stated in the standard of ISO/IEC 17025 and the pressure and acoustics services included in the CMC tables of the institute and under Inter RMO review at the moment. This project will suport the development, improvement and evaluation of QMS processes and procedures.

All the NMIs and DIs participating in the CIPM MRA must operate a Quality Management System (QMS) to support their calibration activities. In this project the QMS of NSAI National Metrology Laboratory (IE) was peer reviewed. The peer review was carried out by an on-site visit of a metrological expert(s) in Temperature & Humidity coming from the Finnish Metrology Institute (MIKES). The review included relevant requirements for the competence stated in the standard of ISO/IEC 17025 and the temperature & Humidity services included in the CMC tables of the institute and/or under Inter RMO review at the moment. A Peer Review record was prepared by the reviewer outlining all review findings, non-conformities, recommendations and opportunities for improvement.
